Shelley Kapitulik launched Splash PR in 2010, and brings more than 15 years of in-house and agency experience in corporate communications, public relations and social media to her clients.
Shelley has worked with clients including Times Square New Year’s Eve, The Greenwich Wine + Food Festival; BuzzFeed’s “AM to DM;” CBS Television; Men’s Health magazine; Privé-Swiss Fitness and Privé-Swiss Wellness; LiveU; STAGE Network; The Five Senses Festival in Litchfield County, CT; BuyVia.com; Continuum Distilling; and restaurants such as The Cottage (Westport, CT) and OKO (Westport, CT and Rye, NY) from Chef Brian Lewis, a semi-finalist for the James Beard Awards’ Best Chef: Northeast in 2018; Carbone’s Hospitality, a Connecticut classic since 1928; Shell & Bones Oyster Bar (New Haven, CT); Geronimo Tequila Bar and Southwest Grill (Fairfield and New Haven, CT) and Bar Yoshi (Nantucket, MA).
Shelley also has television production and entertainment industry experience, freelancing for ABC Sports and working at WLVI-TV, Tribune’s WB affiliate for more than two years. Working within the Creative Services department at the station, she handled programming, aided in public relations efforts, and staffed live television productions and promotional events.
In addition to her public relations work, Shelley is also a Pilates and Yoga instructor.
Shelley is an avid supporter of The Shubert Theatre in New Haven, CT, most recently acting as Co-Chair of the event’s virtual “Next Stop: New Haven: at Home edition” fundraiser and community event.
She is a graduate of Emerson College in Boston, MA, with a bachelor of arts in TV/Video.
