Who We Are

Shelley Kapitulik-Jaye launched Splash PR in 2010 and brings more than 15 years of in-house and agency experience in corporate communications, public relations and social media to her clients.

Based in Greenwich, Connecticut. she has worked with clients including Times Square New Year’s Eve, The Greenwich Wine + Food Festival; BuzzFeed’s “AM to DM;” CBS Television; Men’s Health magazine; The Five Senses Festival/Pilobolus in Litchfield County, CT; BuyVia.com; Continuum Distilling; Wholesome Wave; Watson Adventures and restaurants such as The Cottage (Westport, CT) and OKO (Westport, CT and Rye, NY) from Chef Brian Lewis, a semi-finalist for the James Beard Awards’ Best Chef: Northeast in 2018; Carbone’s Hospitality, a Connecticut classic since 1928; Shell & Bones Oyster Bar (New Haven, CT); Geronimo Tequila Bar and Southwest Grill (Fairfield and New Haven, CT); Camacho Garage (New Haven, CT) and Bar Yoshi (Nantucket, MA); High George/Hamilton Park, from Chef Tyler Anderson, a six-time semi-finalist for the James Beard Awards, at New Haven’s new Blake Hotel) and Bear’s Smokehouse BBQ, among others.

Shelley also has television production and entertainment industry experience, freelancing for ABC Sports and working at WLVI-TV, Tribune’s WB affiliate for more than two years. Working within the Creative Services department at the station, she handled programming, aided in public relations efforts, and staffed live television productions and promotional events.

In addition to her public relations work, she is also a Pilates and Yoga instructor.

Shelley helped The Shubert Theatre in New Haven, CT create its new signature fundraiser and community event, “Next Stop: New Haven” in 2019, and helped migrate the event to four successful virtual, at-home editions in 2020 and 2021, benefitting the theatre, local restaurants and local charities. She also serves on the planning committee for the American Cancer Society’s “Women Leading the Way to Wellness” annual event.

She is a graduate of Emerson College in Boston, MA, with a bachelor of arts in TV/Video.
