Shelley Kapitulik-Jaye launched Splash PR in 2010 and brings 20 years of in-house and agency experience in corporate communications, public relations, marketing, events and social media to her clients.
Based in Greenwich, Connecticut, she has worked with clients in the media, lifestyle, hospitality, event, technology and wellness space, including Times Square New Year’s Eve; Greenwich Wine + Food; BuzzFeed’s “AM to DM;” The J House Greenwich; CBS Television; Men’s Health magazine; Pilobolus; BuyVia; Center Stage Theatre; Broadbeam Media; Continuum Distilling; STAGE Network; Elfster; Earth’s Call; Crunch Fitness; Prive Swiss; Shell & Bones Oyster Bar (New Haven, CT); Geronimo Tequila Bar and Southwest Grill (Fairfield and New Haven, CT); Camacho Garage (New Haven, CT) and bar Yoshi (Nantucket, MA); among others.
Shelley also has television production and entertainment industry experience, freelancing for ABC Sports and working at WLVI-TV, Tribune’s WB affiliate for more than two years. Working within the Creative Services department at the station, she handled programming, aided in public relations efforts, and staffed live television productions and promotional events.
In addition to her public relations work, she is also a Pilates and Yoga instructor.
Shelley currently serves on the planning committee for the American Cancer Society’s “Women Leading the Way to Wellness” annual event in Fairfield County, CT. She previously worked with The Shubert Theatre in New Haven, CT on its signature fundraiser and community event, “Next Stop: New Haven” in 2019, and helped migrate the event to a virtual, at-home edition in May, October and December 2020, as well as February 2021, benefitting the theatre, local restaurants and local charities.
She is a graduate of Emerson College in Boston, MA, with a Bachelor of Arts in TV/Video.
